Al Nahda Resort & Spa is proud to announce it will be exhibiting at World Travel Market 2013, the leading global event for the travel industry. The decision to do so will not only mean it is taking part in an event boasting consistent growth in the value of deals it drives but comes following news that WTM 2013 will be bigger and better with a number of new initiatives for this year. Figures already released show that in 2012, a total of £1,860 million travel and tourism deals will be generated by the event, a 13% increase on WTM 2011. The growth is part of a wider trend – revenues generated at WTM 2012 were up 39% on 2009 figures.

Al Nahda Resort & Spa has recently opened a new ballroom, which can accommodate up to 400 people, as well as a new state-of-the-art gym to give guests an enhanced experience and additional facilities during their stay.

Al Nahda Resort & Spa will also benefit from a number of new initiatives designed to ensure WTM 2013 remains the most innovative global event for the travel industry. Responding to news that the event’s Travel Technology region is the fastest growing, The Travel Tech Show at WTM has been created with its own dedicated focus and resource. It will run in conjunction to WTM 2013 from Monday 4 – Thursday 7 November at ExCeL, London.

The growing importance of the luxury sector is also recognised with the launch of a two-day luxury showcase event, ‘A Taste of ILTM at WTM’. This will take place on Monday 4 – Tuesday 5 November at ExCeL, London, and is based around table-top appointments and a one-day conference programme.

Reed Travel Exhibitions Exhibition Director World Travel Market Simon Press said: “We are delighted to welcome Al Nahda Resort & Spa to WTM 2013 and are sure their attendance will prove to be a wise decision. WTM is showing consistent and strong growth in the business deals generated there and with this year’s innovations, we are confident the 2013 event will continue in this vein.”
