Chill Out - relax and enjoy... the name says it, is a Sri Lankan Band. Back home, Chill Out performed in the 5 Star hotel and pub circuit. The Band was also tied up with the international brand “Carlsberg” to perform for their sponsored events.

When it comes to the type of music, it most certainly depends on the audience in hand. Having a repertoire of over 350 songs, from the 60’s to-date and singing in different languages such as English, Latin, Arabic, Hindi, Sinhala, it is very easy to capture the attention of many different audiences. Chill Out performs what is required at a given time, be it cha cha, waltz, rock 'n roll, slow rock, jazz, blues, country, folk, reggae, dance, or easy listening.

Chaminda – Vocals / Guitar

A performer since college days with years of experience overseas and home. Chaminda has been involved in many rock concerts in Sri Lanka since his early days in the music industry. Performs songs by Paul Simon, James Brown, The Commitments, Bob Marley, Simon and Garfunkel, Kenny Rogers, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, George Benson, Earth Wind & Fire, to name a few favourites. He could strum his guitar and sing “Vincent” or change his vocals to sound like Louis Amstrong.

Nilantha – Vocals / Keyboards

With exposure to music from his father, a music teacher,.Nilantha has gained experience in many areas in the music field, even though he is the youngest in the band. Loves to perform ballads but never hesitates to sing dance music when required. Performs songs by Elton John, The Eagles, Scorpions, Tom Jones, MLRT, 10cc, Ugly Kid Joe, Marc Anthony etc. Apart from singing in English and Sinhala, he also performs many Arabic and Hindi songs. He has released his first original back home in Sri Lanka, which is aired in many radio stations.

Sajee – Vocals

With many years of experience in the industry, overseas and at home, from lounges to nightclubs, Sajee performs songs by Tina Turner, Randy Crawford, Sade, Norah Jones, Corrs, Dido, Sheryl Crow, Abba, Shakira, Natalie Imbruglia, Avril Lavigne, to name a few.
