Hamlai - Owner
Ajit
Hamlai an Omani National who is the
architect of Al Nahda, acquired the
land on which the resort resides back
in 1990. It started life as a melon
patch and mango orchard providing
fruit for the Omani Armed Forces,
and throughout the construction Mr
Hamlai insisted that not one tree
should be cut down. As Chairman &
Managing Director of Al Bahja Industrial
Holdings, a group of over thirty companies,
he is extremely busy and loves nothing
more to relax at Al Nahda. However
we are never allowed to relax as his
constant drive and enthusiasm for
our retreat keeps us on our toes.
